Background of Sago and Nipah Development Board
The Sago and Nipah Development Board (SNDB) is a government statutory body under the Ministry of Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development (MFICORD).
The establishment of SNDB was approved by MMKN on 29th June 2021 and the SNDB Ordinance 2022 was passed in the DUN seating on 16th February 2022.
Its main role is to develop, promote, and regulate the sago and nipah industries in Sarawak.
